About the Winery

Quaquarini Francesco is a family winery in Monteveneroso, a hamlet of Canneto Pavese in the Oltrepò Pavese region, founded in the second half of the 20th century and now in its third generation. The estate has been fully converted to organic viticulture, cultivating classic regional varieties including Croatina, Barbera, and Ughetta di Canneto on steep hills with diverse soils ranging from sandy to limestone and clay. Their portfolio includes the renowned Sangue di Giuda, a sweet and fruity sparkling red wine that is a specialty of the region, alongside a wide range of other Oltrepò Pavese wines.
