About the Winery

Monzio Compagnoni was founded in 1994 by Marcello Monzio Compagnoni in Adro, in the heart of the Franciacorta hills, where the family relocated their winemaking business from Bergamo to focus on Millesimato Franciacorta DOCG. The estate cultivates 21 hectares of vineyards, 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir, producing approximately 220,000 bottles per year across their Cuvée alla Moda, Millesimati, and Riserva collections. Housed in a beautifully restored 15th-century farmhouse, the winery is considered one of Franciacorta's most dynamic estates, blending research, expertise, and passion to create wines of unmistakable character.
