About the Winery

La Rifra is a family-run winery at Pilandro, near Desenzano del Garda on the border between Lombardy and Veneto, with roots in the Lugana area dating back to the 1970s. The Fraccaroli family cultivates 14 hectares of vineyards on clay soils at 70-80 meters above sea level, producing primarily Lugana DOC wines from the indigenous Turbiana grape, alongside Garda DOC reds and rosés. Their commitment to quality is evident in careful manual harvesting, the absence of herbicides, and extended aging for their Riserva wines from vines over 40 years old.
