About the Winery

The Consorzio Club del Buttafuoco Storico is a collective of 15 winegrowers in eastern Oltrepò Pavese dedicated to preserving and promoting the historic Buttafuoco wine tradition. Founded in 1996, the Club establishes strict quality standards for its members, who produce Buttafuoco from designated historic vineyards using indigenous grape varieties including Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara, and Ughetta di Canneto. This consortium represents a commitment to safeguarding one of Lombardy's most distinctive and traditional wine styles through rigorous vineyard selection and artisanal winemaking.
