About the Winery

Colline della Stella was founded in 1997 by Andrea Arici in the alpine communes of Gussago and Cellatica, at elevations between 150 and 350 meters in the northeast Pre-Alps of Franciacorta. Arici, who previously worked with legendary sparkling winemaker Mattia Vezzola at Bellavista, rehabilitated old family terraced vineyards on high-elevation sites with active limestone soils that impart deep minerality and salinity. The estate exclusively produces zero-dosage Franciacorta wines with full respect for the natural environment, crafting wines of remarkable precision and terroir expression.
