Cantine Vitea
About the Winery
Cantine Vitea, with origins dating to 1895 when Antonio Faravelli began farming in Montù Beccaria, is a historic estate in Loglio di Sopra, Oltrepò Pavese. Now managed by Stefano and Gaia Faravelli, the 10-hectare hillside estate in Valle Versa produces Buttafuoco, Sangue di Giuda, Riesling, and Bonarda from clay-calcareous soils at 230-275 meters elevation, using integrated pest management and modern winemaking techniques.
