Tenuta La Ghiaia
About the Winery
Tenuta La Ghiaia is a winery estate in Sarzana, within the Colli di Luni DOC, founded by Luciano Lotti in the late 1960s on the gravel bed of the ancient Magra river, hence the name meaning 'gravel' in Italian. Today led by Olivia Lotti, the estate organically farms 5 hectares of Vermentino, Sangiovese, Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo, and Merlot, producing three distinct Vermentino expressions alongside the red Undicinodi DOC.
