About the Winery

Rocche del Gatto was founded in 1982 in the Albenga hinterland by Franco, who cultivates Rossese, Pigato, and Vermentino on iron-rich red soils at the edge of the Mediterranean scrub. The estate works entirely organically, with manual vineyard practices and spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts, producing wines that include a skin-macerated Vermentino and a pure Rossese.
