Maixei

About the Winery

Maixei is a cooperative brand launched in 2007 by the Cantina Cooperativa Riviera dei Fiori, uniting over 30 small growers across the Val Nervia and Val Verbone around Dolceacqua in western Liguria. The name refers to the ancient dry-stone walls (müragni) that support the terraces where members cultivate Rossese di Dolceacqua, the first DOC of Liguria, alongside Pigato and Vermentino.
