About the Winery
Azienda Agricola La Colombiera was founded in the early 1970s by Francesco Ferro, who planted the first Vermentino vines on the hills of Castelnuovo Magra overlooking the ancient city of Luni. Today the Ferro family cultivates about 10 hectares of Vermentino and Sangiovese within the Colli di Luni DOC, producing approximately 64,000 bottles annually.
