About the Winery
Poggio Le Volpi is a family winery founded in 1996 by Felice Mergè in Monte Porzio Catone, in the volcanic Colli Albani area of the Castelli Romani, Lazio, continuing a family tradition started in 1920. Spanning approximately 100 hectares of vineyards, the estate is renowned for its Frascati production, including the acclaimed Epos Frascati Superiore DOCG Riserva, and has been instrumental in promoting the DOC Roma appellation with a dedicated line of wines.
