About the Winery
La Torretta is an organic and biodynamic winery in Grottaferrata, in the Castelli Romani area of Lazio, run by Riccardo Magno and Maria Enqvist. The estate produces four wines from indigenous varieties including Malvasia Puntinata and Trebbiano, vinified in a historic cave dug by hand from tuff rock in the second century BC, using Georgian qvevri amphorae and chestnut barrels.
