About the Winery
L'Avventura is a family-run organic winery founded in 2015 by Stefano and Gabriella Matturro in Piglio, in the heart of the Cesanese del Piglio DOCG zone of Lazio. The estate has grown to encompass 12 hectares, producing approximately 50,000 bottles annually from native varieties Cesanese and Passerina, with a focus on organic regenerative agriculture and hospitality including a wine resort.
