About the Winery
Il Vecchio Poggio is a small organic artisan winery in Isola del Liri, in the province of Frosinone, Lazio, founded in 2017 by Amedeo and Graziella Iafrati. Located on a sun-drenched hillside at 340 meters above sea level, the estate produces small quantities of handcrafted wines from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malvasia di Candia grown on rocky puddinga limestone soil, with spontaneous fermentations and no filtration.
