About the Winery
Gotto d'Oro is the largest wine producer in Lazio and ranks among the top 20 wineries in Italy, founded in 1945 as a cooperative of small vine growers in Marino, in the Castelli Romani area. Today, the cooperative unites over 150 member growers across 1,000 hectares, producing wines under the Frascati DOC, Marino DOC, and Castelli Romani DOC designations from native varieties including Malvasia del Lazio, Bellone, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, and Cesanese.
