About the Winery

Famiglia Cotarella is a renowned three-generation winemaking family with estates spanning Lazio, Umbria, and Tuscany, originally founded in 1979 as Falesco in Montefiascone by brothers Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella. Now led by the third generation - sisters Dominga, Marta, and Enrica - the family produces approximately 2.6 million bottles annually across 370 hectares, with flagship Merlot wines and a strong focus on indigenous varieties including Roscetto and Aleatico from their volcanic Lazio vineyards.
