About the Winery

Castel De Paolis is an organic winery founded in 1985 in Grottaferrata, in the Castelli Romani area of Lazio, at 270 meters above sea level. The estate was established by Giulio Santarelli with the guidance of Professor Attilio Scienza, focusing on the recovery of precious native grape varieties abandoned after phylloxera, and produces acclaimed wines including the Donna Adriana blend which has earned Tre Bicchieri from Gambero Rosso.
