About the Winery
A family boutique winery in Fuškulin between Vrsar and Poreč in western Istria, Damjanić was founded in 2000 by Ivan Damjanić, who revived a 200-year family winemaking tradition that earned his great-grandfather Giorgio Jurković a Grand Prix in Paris in 1928. Spanning 13.5 hectares, the estate cultivates indigenous Istrian varieties including Malvazija Istarska, Teran, and Borgonja, alongside the revived ancient variety Duranija, producing around 70,000–90,000 bottles annually.
