About the Winery

Valchiarò is a winery founded in 1991 by five friends from Torreano in the Colli Orientali del Friuli, Armando, Lauro, Emilio, Galliano, and Giampaolo, who combined their inherited passion for wine and cultivation with modern technology. In 2006 the operation moved to a new facility in Togliano, and their constant commitment to quality earned the prestigious honor of their 'Nexus' being named Best White Wine of Italy 2020 by Winesurf, with the winery among the first in the region to adopt the Natura Vitis low environmental impact protocol.
