About the Winery

Talis Wine is a fusion of six independent producers in Friuli, inspired by the dream of continuing generations of Friulian winemaking wisdom on vineyards nestled in a landscape cradled by the sea and sheltered by the Julian Alps. The name 'Talis' comes from the Friulian word for dandelion, whose bright flowers carpet the hillsides between the vines, and the winery produces white and red wines from a terroir of red earth, gravel, and marl-and-ponca soils shaped by four rivers.
