Schiopetto is a historic winery in Capriva del Friuli, in the prestigious Collio denomination, where Mario Schiopetto made history in 1965 by barreling his first 'Tocai,' becoming known as the 'master of white wine' in Italy and a trailblazer in modernizing Italian winemaking. Today the winery continues Mario's legacy across crus including Capriva, Zegla, Pradis, and Oleis, producing elegant whites from Friulano, Pinot Bianco, Malvasia Istriana, and Sauvignon that reflect a philosophy of listening to nature and understanding the terroir.
