About the Winery

Scarbolo Sergio is a family winery founded in 1982 in Lauzacco in the eastern stretches of Grave del Friuli, near the Slovenian border, now downsized to their best-situated 14 hectares and managed by siblings Lara and Mattia. The estate is certified organic, harvests entirely by hand, and focuses on less technological intervention in the cellar, employing whole-cluster fermentation, skin maceration, and oak cask aging to produce wines of greater authenticity and terroir expression.
