About the Winery

Ronco Margherita was founded in 2009 by Alessandro Bellio and his wife Margherita in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, building on land formerly owned by ampelographer Ruggero Forti, a father of modern Friulian viticulture. The estate works approximately 28 hectares organically across the hills of Pinzano al Tagliamento and the Colli Orientali, producing innovative wines from both native varieties like Picolit, Friulano, and Schioppettino and international grapes.
