About the Winery
Rive Col de Fer is a family winery founded in the early 1980s in Caneva, in the foothills of the Pordenone province, set in an area rich in history that was likely the site of a Roman Castrum. The estate has transformed the sun-kissed hills into an immense vineyard, cultivating vines with meticulous care including careful pruning, manual bunch thinning, and exclusively hand harvesting to produce wines that express the unique microclimate influenced by the nearby Cansiglio forest, including the rare indigenous sparkling Verdiso and the distinctive Bakú red wine.
