About the Winery

Pitticco is a boutique winery founded in 2017 by Sergio Pitticco in Novacuzzo, Prepotto, in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, on 5 hectares of vineyards exceptionally suited to red wine production. The estate exclusively produces wines from three native red varieties – Schioppettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, and the rare Tazzelenghe – with organic conversion in progress, and has earned significant international recognition including Decanter's 'Wine of the Year 2021' for its Serika Tazzelenghe.
