About the Winery

Obiz is a family-run winery founded in 1997 in Cervignano del Friuli, very close to the Adriatic Sea, where fresh sea breezes give their wines freshness, elegance, and natural balance. The estate practices sustainable viticulture on clayey-sandy alluvial soils, producing wines from Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia, Traminer Aromatico, Ribolla Gialla, Merlot, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, and has also pioneered the use of resistant PIWI varieties.
