About the Winery

Marco Scolaris is a fourth-generation family winery in San Lorenzo Isontino, in the Collio DOC of Friuli Venezia Giulia, with roots dating back to 1924 when Giovanni Scolaris built the first small winery. Now led by Gianmarco, the estate has grown to become the second largest producer in Cormons with 40 hectares of owned vineyards and another 40 on long-term leases, with a focus on Ribolla Gialla and producing wines that reflect the market's desire for approachable, well-crafted Friulian wines.
