About the Winery

Rado Kocjančič is a small winery in San Dorligo della Valle, in the province of Trieste, located in the unique Carso plateau area between the karst and the Mediterranean Sea. After gaining experience in California, Rado resumed his family's agricultural tradition in 1999, farming 6 hectares with biodynamic and organic practices to produce around 20,000 bottles annually from native varieties including Vitovska, Malvasia Istriana, Moscato Giallo, and Refosco, as well as the acclaimed 'Brezanka' white blend made from 15 different grape varieties.
