About the Winery

Grgič Igor is a small winery founded in 1992 in Padriciano, near Trieste, when Igor Grgič inherited a small agricultural property from his grandfather and transformed it into a winery. Since there are no suitable vineyards in the arid karst plateau around Padriciano, he rents vineyards in the nearby San Dorligo valley, producing around 8,000 bottles annually with a focus on Malvasia and Vitovska whites vinified in oak, alongside red wines aged in barrique.
