About the Winery

Ferruccio Sgubin established his farmhouse in 1960 in Dolegna del Collio, in the hamlet of Mernico, and has since specialized in quality grape growing on the marly hills of the Collio. Now passed down to Gianni Sgubin with the next generation Marco and Margherita preparing to take over, the estate produces wines including a highly regarded Collio Sauvignon, with a focus on environment-friendly practices including an innovative heating system fueled by vineyard waste.
