About the Winery
Emilio Bulfon is a visionary Friulian winery in Valeriano, north of Spilimbergo, dedicated since 1974 to the recovery and revival of ancient indigenous grape varieties at risk of extinction. Through decades of passionate research, Emilio successfully brought varieties including Forgiarin, Piculit Neri, Sciaglin, Ucelut, and Cividin back into cultivation and into Italy's National Vine Catalogue, with his son Lorenzo now cementing this unique legacy as head winemaker.
