About the Winery

Bucovaz is a family winery in Dolegnano, San Giovanni al Natisone, at the crossroads of the DOC Grave, Colli Orientali, and Collio areas, run by Simone and Serena Bucovaz. The family, with roots in Slovenia, has been making wine for 50 years, with Simone bringing experience gained from winemaking across the United States, Australia, and New Zealand to produce wines from native varieties including Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, and Malvasia.
