About the Winery

Terrevive is a biodynamic farm and winery founded in 2008 by Gianluca Bergianti in Gargallo di Carpi, near Modena, now expanded to 35 hectares with 10 hectares of vineyards planted entirely to autochthonous varieties. A self-described extremist, Bergianti follows strict biodynamic principles, employs pre-Charmat traditional methods for Lambrusco using no autoclaves, no added yeasts, no chaptalization, and no dosage, resulting in bone-dry wines of shocking immediacy and riveting acidity from Salamino, Sorbara, and Pignoletto grapes.
