About the Winery

Tenuta Casali is a family-owned winery founded in 1978 in Mercato Saraceno, along the Savio Valley in the Romagna hills, where brothers Valerio and Paolo Casali took over their grandfather Mario's estate. Spanning 50 hectares with 18 hectares of vineyards at 160-240 meters altitude, the winery focuses on indigenous Sangiovese, Albana, Trebbiano, and Famoso varieties, producing acclaimed wines like their flagship Quartosole Sangiovese Riserva from unique terraced riverside vineyards in the San Vicinio subzone.
