Podere La Grotta
About the Winery
Located on a panoramic headland at 250 meters above sea level between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines near Cesena, Podere La Grotta is a historic estate with vineyards documented since the 19th century and a winery cave dating to the mid-1800s. Now in its seventh generation under Giovanni Amadori and son Giacomo, the 12-hectare estate surrounded by centuries-old woods produces organic wines from indigenous Sangiovese, Albana, Trebbiano, and Famoso varieties, matching each vine to its ideal terroir.
