About the Winery
Located on the Bagnolo hill in Castrocaro Terme in the Romagna hills, Marta Valpiani was founded by Marta and is now run by her daughter Elisa Mazzavillani, cultivating 8 hectares of vineyards at 250-350 meters elevation. The winery focuses exclusively on indigenous varieties including Sangiovese, Albana, and Trebbiano Romagnolo, using artisanal methods with natural spontaneous fermentations, and is certified organic while following biodynamic principles between the rows.
