About the Winery
Born in 2016 as an anagram of the historic Monferrina agricultural company in Vicobarone, Val Tidone, Marinferno is a young, innovative winery owned by the Sforza Fogliani family since the 16th century. They cultivate around 10 hectares of vines on two farms at 160-250 meters elevation, practicing organic viticulture to produce wines from Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Ortrugo, Barbera, Croatina, and Pinot Nero with minimal intervention in the cellar.
