About the Winery
A historic winery of Piacenza located in Sala Mandelli in the heart of the Tidone Valley, La Torretta has historical records dating back to the 1600s with vineyards documented since 1822. Now covering about 34 hectares of vineyards after merging with a neighboring estate in 2015, the Marchesi family produces traditional wines including Gutturnio, Ortrugo, and also cultivates olive trees, being the first company to reintroduce olive cultivation in the valley.
