About the Winery

Spanning 23 hectares with 14 hectares of vineyards in the Ghiaia stream valley in the hills of Bologna (Valsamoggia), La Marmocchia is a family-run, organic winery managed by the Montaguti family since the mid-19th century, now in its sixth generation. They produce organic wines including Pignoletto DOCG, Barbera, Merlot, and Allaluna late-harvest wine, with a history dating back to 1630.
