About the Winery

Founded in 1999 when Alberto Salvadori inherited the property in Piumazzo near Castelfranco Emilia, La Battagliola has grown to 27 hectares of vineyards on gravelly soils ideal for Lambrusco Grasparossa. The estate produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually, with their Dosage Millesimato 15 flagship wine, and since 2015 has also cultivated Pignoletto for sparkling wine production.
