Caviro is a major cooperative wine group founded in 1966 in Faenza, Emilia-Romagna, with production facilities also in Abruzzo, and represents the largest vineyard in Italy with over 36,200 hectares across 8 regions and more than 11,500 member winemakers. Known primarily for the Tavernello brand, which was ranked as the fifth best-selling wine in the world by Wine Spectator in 2008, Caviro has received over 200 national and international awards in the last five years and is committed to sustainability through a circular economy model that converts grape processing waste into renewable energy, fertilizers, and high value-added products.
