About the Winery
La Guardiense is a historic cooperative winery in Guardia Sanframondi, Benevento, founded in 1960 by 33 visionary farmers and now representing nearly 1,000 growers cultivating 1,500 hectares. Under the guidance of celebrated winemaker Riccardo Cotarella, the cooperative produces acclaimed Falanghina and Aglianico wines, including the Janare line that celebrates local Samnite legends and the volcanic terroir of the Sannio valley.
