About the Winery

Janare is the flagship wine label of Cantina La Guardiense, a cooperative founded in 1960 in Guardia Sanframondi, Benevento, that now unites nearly 1,000 growers across 1,500 hectares. Named after the legendary women of the Sannio, Janare wines celebrate indigenous varieties like Falanghina and Aglianico across multiple ranges including Alfabeto and Anima Lavica.
