About the Winery
I Pentri takes its name from an ancient Samnite tribe and was founded in 2002 in Castelvenere by husband-and-wife team Dionisio Meola and Lia Falato after 20 years of tending vines in the Benevento province. The 10-hectare estate practices natural biodynamic viticulture without chemicals, with all vineyards terraced on the hillsides of Monte Taburno, hand-tended and harvested, producing wines that are fermented with wild yeasts and bottled unfined and unfiltered, embodying the deep connection between the land and its ancient heritage.
