About the Winery
Simone Giacomo is an independent young winemaker in Castelvenere, in the heart of Sannio, who founded his estate in 2012 after assembling family vineyards with particularly promising small parcels. Farming 10 hectares organically since 2016, he cultivates indigenous varieties including Agostinella, Malvasia, Falanghina, Greco, Camaiola, and Aglianico in a striking three-level cellar carved into local tuff, with gravity-flow vinification and a focus on sustainability that includes solar panels and rainwater harvesting, producing wines without added sulfites or selected yeasts in the best vintages.
