Tenuta Del Castello
About the Winery
Tenuta del Castello is a historic estate in Montegiordano, Calabria, founded in 1898 on 12 hectares near the 17th-century Castello dei Principi Pignone del Carretto, now revitalized under entrepreneur Renato Bocca with guidance from renowned enologist Riccardo Cotarella. The winery focuses on indigenous and regional varieties including Aglianico and Greco, producing acclaimed wines such as the white 'Lepanio,' the rosé 'Pian delle Rose,' and the red 'Narobio' and 'Soprano' that express the unique terroir of this coastal hillside estate.
