About the Winery
Mimmo Vinci is a fourth-generation winemaker in Cirò, Calabria, whose family viticultural tradition began in the late 1800s with his great-grandfather Nicodemo and was continued by generations of grape growers. In 2023, Mimmo released his first three bottled wines – the Cirò DOC Rosato 'Joseph47,' the Calabria IGT Bianco 'Lacinio,' and the Cirò DOC Rosso Classico Superiore 'Chone' – all crafted primarily from the indigenous Gaglioppo grape to honor his family's legacy.
