Boccafolle di Balbia is a premium winery in Mottafollone, Cosenza, in the Sibari valley, founded by the Bruno family on 5 hectares dedicated exclusively to ancient indigenous Calabrian grape varieties. The estate produces wines from Greco Nero, Greco Bianco, Magliocco, and the rare Vujno grape, with their historically researched 'Balbino' red wine praised since Pliny the Elder's writings, combining historical Calabrian vines with contemporary Tuscan-influenced winemaking techniques.
