About the Winery
Tenuta J. Hofstätter is the largest family-owned wine estate in Alto Adige, founded in 1907 in Tramin, the recognized birthplace of Gewürztraminer, and today farming approximately 50 hectares across multiple sites. The estate pioneered the Vigna single-vineyard classification in Alto Adige in 1987 and remains a benchmark for cool-climate Pinot Noir and dry Gewürztraminer, now in its fifth generation of family stewardship.
