Pettinella

About the Winery

Pettinella is a micro-winery run by Giuliano Pettinella, a young lawyer-turned-winemaker who crafts wines from under half a hectare of vineyards across two sites in Silvi Marina and Tocco da Casauria, Abruzzo, using old vines ranging from 20 to 45 years trained in the traditional Abruzzo pergola system. With a pure, minimal-intervention approach without chemical fertilizers, fermentation occurs spontaneously in barriques and only around 1,800 bottles are produced annually, bottled unfiltered.
